Note to ALL political parties
A Hurricane of any size or magnitude is NOT a political event, it is a people event. A Hurricane does not care about your Race, Religion or Political affiliation. So all you politicos out there, all you Michael Moore types, who are saying that a Hurricane striking before or during the Republican convention is "proof there is a God in heaven", do us all a favor and follow the advice of this:
I mean, really, is any natural disaster a time to create division or is it an oppurtunity to set aside differrences and present a united front? I think you already know my answer to that.
UPDATE: Now, if you ask me, and I know you have not but I'm gonna tell you any-way, Hurricane Gustave's devastaing winds sparing New Orleans as the core of storm "veered away from New Orleans" as it approached the coast is proof there is a God in Heaven and one who who has heard, and answered, the prayers of hundreds, thousand, no, millions of people across this country who prayed that New Orleans would be spared. I don't know about you, but, I'm pretty thatful for that!
