Wherin I participate in some lunacy

February 20th was the last total Lunar Eclipse that will be seen in North America until December 2010. In case you missed it Wednesday night because of clouds, you didn't know about it or what have you, you missed a great show.

I was fortunate enough to have clear skies for most of the event which I watched entirely outdoors.

Even though it was less than 10 degrees outside and even though I was soaking wet, I was warm, comfortable and cozy. Nothing quite like a 102 degree outdoor hot tub on a bone chilling winter night!

Whilst soaking in said hot tub, sipping a beer and watching the total lunar eclipse I snapped a series of photos that I have composed into one frame showing the full moon being overshadowed by the earths, well, shadow, which I present here for your enjoyment:
