Slowly slipping into the Abyss
Many of you have most likely seen this in one form or another. Are we headed down this road? With our present choice of Candidates, It sure appears so. The transformation is almost complete for our friends North of the border:

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had
some Exchange Students in the class. One day while the class was
in the lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who
kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The
student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been
shot while fighting communists in his native country who were
trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new
communist government.
In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked
a strange question. He asked, "Do you know how to catch wild
pigs?"
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch
line.
The young man said this was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by
finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the
ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the
free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a Fence
down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When
they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and
you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and
start to eat again You continue until you have all four sides of
the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used
to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam
the gate on them and catch the whole herd.
Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around
and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go
back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they
have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they
accept their captivity."
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he
sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward
Communism/socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the
form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for
unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not
to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. While we
continually lose our freedoms-just A little at a time.

No one seems to care about Obama's link to Bill Ayers. Who is Bill Ayers? You ask? Bill Ayers gave Obama his start, by fund raising for him. He is an American-freedom-hating Sixties radical who was a violent terrorist leader of the Weather Underground. A man who plotted to bomb the pentagon 30 years before bin laden thought to do it.
No one seems to care about Barack's link to mysterious friend and adviser Frank Marshall Davis. Who is Frank Marshall Davis? He knew Barack Obama since he was growing up in Hawaii. Frank is a member of the old Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA.
What of John Mc Cain? If John McCain wants to use the fact that he was a POW for political advantage, it is only fair that people know the truth about John McCain's days as a POW. The fact was, while other POWs were tortured, John McCain gave away military information, made anti-war broadcasts, and even granted an interview, to get special medical treatment.
When Col. Bui Tin, who had actually interrogated John McCain, testified in Congress before the POW/MIA affairs committee, John McCain embraced him! Would you want a turncoat as President?
Never mind that these are 2 of the most liberal candidates ever presented. Never mind that neither is uniquely qualifiied for the office. Pay no attention to their socialist ambitions. It don't matter right?
Remember when you vote, Even if your voting for the lesser of 2 evils, your still voting for evil! How anyone can, in good conscience, vote for either of these 2 for President is beyond my comprehension.
I guess were just becoming like that herd of pigs.

Internet Explorer cannot Load Site Error ... UPDATED!!
If any of you, like me, have experienced the following error, yesterday and today, August 1 & 2 while visiting your or any other blog:
You are NOT alone!
Sitemeter, the popular tracking code that so many of us use, is the culprit...or villian in this huge blogging world snafu.
I too was experiencing this strange anomaly when trying to load my webpages and, after extensive research, mumbling not so nice things underneath my breath because there are always children present, I stumbled upon the solution. And, After removing that darned, dastardly sitemeter tracking code from my site, Behold! The pages once again loaded properly!
So, If you have encountered this on your own site, and I bet many of yu have, and are getting all frustrated, pulling out your hair and getting ready to O.D. on Zoloft or Wellbutrin, it's not your computer, it's not anything you did at all. It's all Sitemeters fault....Me thinks something is really amiss at sitemeter too....So, just remove the code from your pages and all will be well.
For what it's worth, I'm leaving mine out forever. It's one less thing to worry about!
